This week's writing task:
An elderly lady has written an e-mail to you requesting information about the check-in procedure - she has never flown before so she is quite nervous about the whole process. You should reply to her explaining the check-in options available to her and the procedure for each one. Finally, offer her your recommendation - which type of check-in do you think is best for her?

Nowadays, there are 3 type of check –in. The first one is normal check –in, you should be in airport before your flight time. Then go to the check-in desk to check your information and luggage then get your boarding pass. The other way is check-in by self-service kiosk, enter your information and get your boarding pass then drop your baggage at the bag drop area. The last way is check online, go to website of airline that you want to travel with. Then apply your information then print your boarding pass. You should enter your information before 2 hours. I think normal check-in is better for you because you never have used the electronic check and it easy to make mistakes.

ReplyDeleteI’m happy to see your email and this good thing that you asked me! Travel by air such a beautiful thing , every one i think like and prefer travel by air.
First of all you have to book a flight and I suggest to book online. Choose the airline what you prefer and enter the website and choose your country with your destination and the date then you can see the price and select the best. The second step, after you book and after you enter the airport for the trip you have to check in which is confirming of presence a flight. There are four types of check in, the first one the normal way of check in is in person in check in desk which is on airport , you should come to airport before 3 hours before the flight and follow the steps, the another way to check in is easier, there is a machine called Kiosk it is self-service you follow the steps then receive the boarding pass. The tow final ways are online and mobile these two are similar each one work by internet you enter the website and chose check in just give them the information and you can select your meal and seat after that you choose if you write your number or your email, if you write your email you will receive an email with your boarding information and you can print it and show the security in the airport but if you write your number you will receive a message with the information and you will scan it in the airport and your check in will done.
I hope that I can help you and on my opinion I prefer check in on the airport in person because this is the first time for you and there is people can help you.

Travel by air is interesting and better than travel by car. Firstly, you have to book a flight and I suggest booking online. First choose which airline you want and enter the website. Select your country and destination and the date, after that you will see whole information about it and about the price, then select what is the best for you. After you finish with booking there are four steps for check in. The first type of check in is the original way which is on the airport (in person) you go to the airport to check in counters and follow the steps. The second way is check in by self (self-service) by Kiosk machine you can go to the machine and choose airline and write your destination after that follow the next steps. The other and final two ways are mobile check in and online check in. They have same steps, open the airlines websites and write the information what they need then you will receive a massage to your mobile or e mail it depends what you wrote in the application it include all your flight information.
In my opinion, mobile check in is the best for me because its faster, easier and more comfortable. Also, it’s easy to handle it and it just scan it by machine in the airport, so you do not have to wait for a long time.
This days there are 3 types of check in and check in is now easier and quicker. First you can go to the airport and go to any check in service and they will check in for you and give you your flight information but sometimes you might have to wait for a long time until it’s your turn because its crowded.
ReplyDeleteSecond is self-service check in.This type of check in you can go to the airport and use the kiosks machine to check in its quite easier and quicker. First you insert your card and then choice the language then your airline and pick were you want to sit, after that you will receive your boarding pass and your luggages check in.
Third is the online and mobile check in.This is the easiest check in method and recommended by the airports because you can do it at home or while you’re at the airport simply go to the site and check in and you will receive a barcode for your boarding pass.

You can do it at home if you have internet. It's easy and fast. The second one is in person and this also easy. You will have to go to the airline office and do the steps with the person who work their.
If this first time to travel by plane i will give you advice just be relax and be sure that yo will be save.
First of all, open the website of the airline you want travel with. Next, select your destination and date of travel and class. After that, enter the passenger information, full name . Phone number, email address. Next, choose the flight available options. Do not forget your credit card because you want credit card details. Finally, print out your ticket.

The good thing is it not only available at the airport but it is available in hotels and metro station
