  1. Baggage handling is very important for airport and passenger because the passenger will not be satisfied if he has not received his luggage.
First, the luggage is given to check-in staff and you will be asked if you packed the bag your self and you’ll have to follow restrictions about the weight and items in bag and it’ll be tagged there. The baggage tag contains all the passenger information it also has a barcode which is read by scanner through the system. Then the bag will be on conveyor and scanned by x-ray machine for any illegal items. After that it will be sorted to its correct way and the baggage handler will throw it in the aircraft.

  2. A baggage handling system (BHS) is a type of conveyor system installed in airports that transports checked luggage from ticket counters to areas where the bags can be loaded onto airplanes. A BHS also transports checked baggage coming from airplanes to baggage claims or to an area where the bag can be loaded onto another airplane. Although the primary function of a BHS is the transportation of bags, a typical BHS will serve other functions involved in making sure that a bag gets to the correct location in the airport. The process of identifying a bag, and the information associated with it, to make a decision on where the bag should be directed within the system is known as sortation. There is an entire process that the BHS controls. From the moment the bag is set on the in-bound conveyor, to the gathering conveyor, through sorting until it arrives at the designated aircraft and onto the baggage carousel after the flight, the BHS has control over the bag.

  3. Baggage handling system is a very important step in the airport because passengers will not be satisfied if they don’t receive their luggage. The baggage first goes to the check in service and he will ask first have you packed it by yourself if you say no he won’t take the baggage, then he will put a baggage tag on your luggage. The baggage tag is crucial it contain everything about the information about the flights and then it will go to the x-tray machine to check if there is anything illegal inside it.After that it will move along the conveyor system and the scanner will read the barcode and sort it to the correct destination. Then the baggage handler will double check the if it’s in the right destination before loading it.

  5. Baggage handling system is very crucial and plays a big role in the airline industry. This process must be done efficiently and professionally. As every bag must be in the plane at the same time the passenger, as if the bag got delayed the flight will get delayed which may cause many problems.
This process starts with dropping the baggage in the drop off area or the check in counters where it gets measured and labeled via the bag tag. Then it go through many process by the surveyor belt which helps in transporting bags and route them to their right destination .the baggage will go through X-ray machines and then a scanner will read the barcode which is in the bag tag and direct the bag to the right path to get loaded to the plane and the opposite will happen for arrivals.
