The preparing of location was started in 2004 near the coast and it’s built on reclaimed land. The airport is being build by an American Engineering Company.
ReplyDeleteThe new airport is three time bigger than Doha International Airport & will have more facilities. There are two runways and the control tower is between them. The main terminal capacity is fifty million passengers and the other terminal called Emiri terminal and cargo terminal. The airport is going to be a main maintenance hub in the region.
I think NDIA is one of the best projects in the Middle East and it will be very profitable for Qatar especially for world cup 2022.
THE new doha internationalairport(NDIA)will be 6 times bigger in capacity DOH.THIS airport will be on reclaimed land and is built by an AMERICAN enginering company.ALSO this airport will be double the size of london heathrow.
ReplyDeleteTHE facility of this airport will be from the best facilities in the MIDDLE EAST FOR example,the control tower will be between the tow runways which is 85m high.ALSO the terminal of the airport will be look like waves and the top of control tower will be look like triangle.THIS airport will be handle 50 million and 360,00 aicraft can takeoff and land each year.AS we know this airpot will able to pass through it over 8,000 passenger in one hour.
IN my opinion this airpot will be from the best project in the MIDDLE EAST and it will be ready to opend in 2015.
The New Doha International Airport was started in 2004 and it will open in Dec of 2012. The biggest airport in the Middle East, it’s 6 times bigger than DOH present Airport, It’s built on reclaimed land. It is built to cope with the increase in passenger s and freight.
ReplyDeleteThe New Airport has many facilities like, Terminal passenger, VIP Terminal and Cargo Terminal. In addition, it has the tallest control tower with 85 meters between two runways. Also, they make special runway for Airbus A380, because it’s big and needs enough place to take off and land.
In my opinion, it’s a successful project because when the airport is really completed it will be able to handle 50 million passengers.
Doha is nive city in Qatar. One of the beatiful place in Doha will be New Doha International Airport. It will be triple the old Doha Airport in size and six times bigger in the capacity in order to cope with the increase in passenger numbers.

finally, new Doha International airport is a very important project espically because Qatar will host the World Cup 2022 and we need a huge and excellent airport like it.
The New Doha International Airport is one of the biggest airports in the world and in Middle East and it will also be the main hub and gate for all airlines in the Middle East.

Its 6 times bigger than (DOH) the airport designed by an American engineering company , the airport is built on reclaimed land They started working on the airport in 2004 the airport is expected to be finished by 2012, but the opening will be at 2015. The airport designed with a big capacity to process the Airbus A380.
The new airport (NDIA), has 2 runways and the control tower is located between the runways, and it also has a very large passenger terminal to process about 50 million passengers annually plus a cargo terminal and they provide enormous hangar for the Airbus A380.
I feel this is a very interesting project and I am waiting until I can be a part of this huge Doha project, I also think its very interesting to work there and deal with different passengers region.

The control tower is the toolset 85 m in the Middle East and it is between the two runways. The hangers will hold six aircrafts Airbus A380 the biggest passenger aircraft.
In my opinion this airport will be the best airport and the largest in the Middle East.
The new Doha International Airport (NDIA) is going to open in December 2012 and it will finish fully in 2015. It was started in 2004. NDIA is going to be 6 times bigger in capacity than Doha. It will have 2 runways and one passenger terminal and a cargo terminal. The control tower will be between the 2 parallel runways and the height will be 85m. The passenger terminal is designed so that all passenger transfers can occur under one roof with short walking distance between gets. Also there is cargo terminal located in the Midfield. It will have the capacity for processing 1.4million tones of cargo per year. I think it will be 5-star airport because it will handle 50 million passengers, 2.5million tones of cargo and 360,000 aircraft takeoff and landing each year.

New Doha International Airport one of the biggest project in the Middle East which cost approximately $7.5 billion, planning took place in 2003 and construction begin in 2004 and the first two phases are scheduled to open in Jan,2013 while the third and final phase is scheduled for 2015.

Airport capacity 24 million passengers per year and enable to transportaion of 750.000 tones of cargo per year. In addition, 360.000 aircraft taking of and landing per year, also has big hangar can handle a maximum of 13 aircraft. Approximately 25.000 square m column free check in hall with 24 m high ceiling, 14 counters for QA first class 16 counters for QA business class and 108 counters for QA economy and foreign airline passengers.34 passport control counters with an addiotional 12 electric gates, in additional 18 dedicted passenger control counters with 8 elictrec for QA first class passenger a maximum of 5 minutes waiting time.The heights for control tower is about 85 m it built between tow runways the length of each one is about 4 km if designed for Airbus A380 which is the biggest aircraft carrying passengers.
